Launched in China late last year, new information about a certification suggests that the Xiaomi 12 line will get another handset soon. Recently, a new device from the company was confirmed in certification by Chinese entities, pointing out what many believe to be the Xiaomi 12 Pro Max.
According to the certification cited by leaker Digital Chat Station, the device appears as having a 150W charging system, accompanied by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor. This model appears with the code name 2207122MC, L2M.
The indication of L2M will be the most interesting of this document, taking into account that the Xiaomi 12 Pro appeared on the market as L2 – and therefore, it is believed that L2M is a more advanced variant of it. It is important to underline that this will not be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, a model that has also appeared in recent rumors but is under a different model code.
As the device would be an improved version of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, performance is expected to evolve, with the probability that the phone will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, manufactured by TSMC in 4-nanometer lithography.
It has a big Cortex X2 core, a Cortex A710, and a smaller Cortex A510, with the CPU frequency reaching 2.99 GHz, while the GPU has better energy efficiency than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
