Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro are the latest flagships of the Chinese manufacturer, which were presented in China at the end of December 2021 together with the slightly weaker Xiaomi 12X. Now the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro have finally confirmed their official presentation date for the international market.
This comes from a Dutch website called Android Planet, which had access to a supposed poster inviting the officialization of the Xiaomi 12 line, with the phrase “Master every scene”, which translates to something like “Master every scene”, referring to the your camera set. The event would be held online on March 15, at 8:00 p.m GMT+813 hours in Spain.
At the moment, we do not know if Xiaomi will finally incorporate the 12X in this event or if it will be replaced by the Xiaomi 12 Lite, a model that has achieved great popularity in previous generations of the series.
Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro Global Pricing
According to the leak, the Xiaomi 12 will have a starting price of 899 euros, while the Pro version will start at 1,099 euros. A rumor published in January by the MySmartPrice website indicated that the Xiaomi 12 will be released in Europe with 8GB of RAM in versions with 128GB or 256GB of storage. The Pro model is expected with 8GB + 128GB and a more powerful version with 12GB + 256GB.
The announcement of the Xiaomi 12X is also expected, and the model should be offered for approximately 600 euros and bet on the same memories as the Xiaomi 12 — 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Expected Specs
Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the new phones of the brand share design details and premium features but offer different sizes. Its standard version bets on a 6.28-inch OLED display, Full HD, and 120 Hz rate, in addition to a 4500mAh battery with 67 W recharge. The company adopts a 50MP main sensor, an ultrawide lens with a 13MP and 5MP macro lenses.
The Pro version, on the other hand, offers a 6.73-inch OLED screen, Quad HD (2K), and a rate of 120 Hz, with a 4600 mAh battery with faster charging of 120W. The model has three 50MP rear sensors, one for the main lens, one for the ultrawide lens, and one for the telephoto lens.
The Xiaomi 12X, in turn, replaces the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip with the Snapdragon 870 chip, Qualcomm’s solution focused on high performance at a more affordable price, keeping all the other Xiaomi 12 specifications.
Lastly, the Pricebaba blog has revealed the images of both devices that have already been presented and are sold in China, without aesthetic changes and keeping the familiar colors: black, blue, and pink.
