Weibo whistleblowing @digital chat station released a photo today, showing vivo’s self-developed “V1” chip and the supporting tray. The chip is rectangular in appearance and packaged with BGA. It can be seen that the contacts at the bottom are arranged at 45°. The front screen of the chip has no redundant words such as code.
According to the source, the chip, which will be used in vivo’s new flagship model, was developed and defined by the manufacturer itself, with a high level of secrecy.
The new flagship model to be released is expected to be Vivo X70/Pro. The phone, which is currently on the Google Play Console list, will be powered by mediatech Dimensity 1200 chips and will have a 6.56-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen. Vivo’s X60 series phones are currently available with a second-generation “Micro Head” main camera, four-axis OIS optical stabilization, and Zeiss optical lens for excellent picture quality in dark light environments. The next generation of Vivo X70 series is expected to continue to be equipped with a micro head master camera, and it can be expected that the Vivo V1 chip is an ISP image processing chip.
