The vivo X80 series will debut in the middle and late this month, which will be the new generation of vivo imaging flagship.
@Digital Chat Station once broke the news that the vivo X80 series will be equipped with Vivo’s self-developed imaging chip V1, and the vivo X70 Pro+ uses this chip.
This chip can serve the needs of imaging applications such as photography and video at the same time. When shooting video, facing a large number of complex operations, the V1 chip has an exponential improvement in energy efficiency compared to DSP and CPU.
In addition, when the vivo V1 chip processes the same computational imaging algorithm, the dedicated algorithm of the chip reduces the power consumption of the hardware circuit by 50% compared with the way of software implementation.
In addition to being equipped with Vivo’s self-developed image chip, another major move of the vivo X80 series is to be the first to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship processor.
This core adopts TSMC’s 4nm process and consists of 1 Cortex-X2 super core, 3 Cortex-A710 large cores, and 4 Cortex-A510 small cores. The GPU is ARM Mali-G710. The comprehensive score of AnTuTu has exceeded 1 million points.
All in all, this will be the Dimensity 9000 model with the best image performance so far, and it is expected to be officially announced soon, we will wait and see.
