The Chinese manufacturer has just launched a new medium range, which takes up most of the specifications of the previous Vivo X21 UD ( here you find our review ) but introduces a small drop notch, a slightly improved battery, and two colors really very beautiful. Here’s everything you need to know (including technical details, price and release date) on Vivo X21s.
As is easily understood, under the body we find the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset seen on board the X21 UD; a solution that never goes out of fashion both in terms of performance and autonomy. To support the processor we have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The Vivo X21s display is once again a Super AMOLED panel, this time with slightly increased ( 6.41 inch ), Full HD + resolution, 19.5: 9 ratio and a drop notch.
Thanks to the latter the device arrives with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.2%. Below the display is a fourth-generation ID sensor, which promises even better performance.
Inside the notch, we find a selfie camera of 24MP, accompanied by an infrared sensor that allows you to take advantage of facial recognition even in the dark. The back, made of glass with 3D effect, houses a dual 12MP + 5MP vertical camera with f / 1.8-2.4 aperture, Dual Pixel autofocus and LED flash. Present at the appeal the now unavoidable AI functionalities for the improvement of the shots.
Compared to the X21 the battery undergoes a slight improvement and reaches the capacity of 340mAh. The onboard operating system is based on Android 8.1 Oreo, through the proprietary FunTouch 4.5 interface. The smartphone comes with the Dual Turbo acceleration software, the voice assistant Jovi and Game Cube, the gaming mode of the Chinese company.
The new Vivo X21s is already available for purchase through the official website of the manufacturer (in China), in the gradient colors Starry Night Black and Millennium Pink, both really nice. The device is present only in the 6/128 GB configuration, at a price of 2498 yuan (about $359).
