In these hours the Chinese company Vivo has officially presented its new device Vivo X21 and it will be available in two variants, a Standard and a UD. The latter presents the ID sensor Under the screen, as for the X20 UD. In contrast, the Vivo X21 standard will have a traditional fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. The device can also be released via face recognition, which is facilitated by IR sensors.
On the front panel, we have a Super AMOLED by 6.28 inches with a resolution of Full HD + (2280 x 1080 pixels) and the screen-to-body ratio of 90.3 %. The hardware compartment of the two variants is almost the same, in fact, we find a Snapdragon 660 flanked by 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal memory expandable through microSD up to 256GB.
As of the camera department, the phone comes with a dual camera setup at the back which consists of two 12MP camera lenses with an LED flash and a 5MP sub-camera., while in the front camera we also find a dual 12MP + 12MP module with f / f aperture 2.0. The camera comes with artificial intelligence and Vivo’s own Rubiks Cube technology.
On the connectivity front, there is no lack of dual-SIM LTE support (without the support for band 20), as well as Wi-Fi ac Dual Band, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, OTG, GPS / A-GPS / GLONASS / BeiDou, while battery side we find a 3200mAh with charging via microUSB, while the renewed operating system Funtouch OS 4 is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
In the audio sector, we find integrated into this new Vivo X21 an AK4376A HiFi chip for listening to high fidelity music, assisted by Vivo software and algorithms. In addition, Vivo has specified that they are already at work to take advantage of 19: 9 for the development of the app. In order to make the most of the diagonal, there are full-screen gestures to move around the interface.
Finally, the Vivo X21 will be available in 3 colors, Aurora White, Drill Black, and Ruby Red and the launch price for the Standard variant from 6/64 GB is 2898 Yuan (approximately $458) while 3198 Yuan (approximately$505), for that from 6/128 GB. The Vivo X21 UD requires 3598 yuan which roughly converts to $568.
