Vivo has released its first folding screen mobile phone, the X Fold, which received a lot of praise. Now, information about the new generation of the folding flagship, the vivo X Fold 2, has been leaked.
The vivo X Fold2 will be equipped with the second-generation Snapdragon 8 processor, which has been used in many new flagship phones and is known for its top-ranked performance among Android devices.
Additionally, the new phone will feature a 2K resolution thin and light folding screen, as well as support for dual ultrasonic screen fingerprints.
The previous generation of the vivo X Fold had an 8-inch super large internal screen with a resolution of 2160×1916. The new phone will upgrade the screen to be even thinner while still retaining the dual ultrasonic screen fingerprints.
Unlike traditional side unlocking methods, the fingerprint under the ultrasonic screen has a stronger ability to resist environmental interference, faster unlocking speed, and greater security.
In terms of photography, the vivo X Fold2 will be equipped with a Sony IMX866 main camera with 50 megapixels and support for OIS optical image stabilization.
In addition to the vivo X Fold 2, vivo is also working on a vertical folding screen flagship which is expected to be released alongside the vivo X Fold2 next year. This is something to look forward to.
