OPPO has recently released its first vertical folding device, the OPPO Find N2 Flip, which has received positive feedback from users for its compact shape and lightweight design.
In line with this, vivo has now announced that it will also be launching its own vertical folding screen mobile phone, the vivoX Flip.
The design of the Vivo X Flip has been revealed in a drawing released by GSMArena. The device has a “square, round and sky-level” design similar to the X90 series, with a circular camera module located at the rear, connected by an aluminum hinge in the middle.
An interesting feature of the VivoX Flip is the horizontal sub-screen located below the camera module. This screen has a width of 682 pixels and looks similar to the moto Razr 2022 folding machine. The main screen of the device is a 1080-pixel wide flexible screen.
The power button of the Vivo X Flip is flush with the side of the device and it is expected to support side fingerprint recognition.
The vivo X Flip will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ processor and will prioritize thinness and lightness. It is expected to be released alongside the new iteration of the vivo X Fold2.
