Samsung has been the pioneer of the curved-screen on the edge of the Galaxy Edge 4 years ago. Through this side screen, the user can place a quick shortcut of the app which is now the Edge Screen system on all of their melt devices. But the next evolution of technology will be spearheaded by Vivo through the NEX 2 Smartphone.
Today, a post on leaker Ice Universe’s Twitter page recently showed us some interesting information about the upcoming smartphone design. First, he said that canceling Samsung’s Full-Display 2.0 project was wrong. This project tries to develop a full-screen phone with no notch or hole.

Why does Ice Universe say Samsung made the wrong decision? That’s because Chinese manufacturers are making such smartphones. Images shared in the post-show that the design is said to be of Vivo NEX 2.
The rendered image shows the Vivo NEX 2 with not only a very thin chin and forehead but a screen on the side of the phone, which size is larger than that used on Samsung devices. No physical buttons on the side of the device are visible on the imagery image. Most likely the control button is full contact.
The first generation Vivo NEX uses the camera “sneezing”, so we can expect more interesting ideas on successor products. Or maybe it will use a hidden camera under the screen. The fingerprint scanner below the screen, then the selfie camera is also hidden below, so maybe soon we will see a smartphone with a screen rate of nearly 100%.
Over the past 2 years, the device from Chinese manufacturers pioneered many new technologies such as camera pop-up, pop-up body, four cameras, a camera under the screen and a fingerprint scanner bottom of the screen. The question is the use of the screen on the side of the device will be the next trend after the device with a small chin and forehead?
