The A-series is the most popular of UMIDIGI, representing the entry-level series at sub-$100. The UMIDIGI A3 was a big success last year and now the new A3 model dubbed UMIDIGI A3S is going to get incremental upgrades. From the new leaked renders, we have our very first look at the UMIDIGI A3S and see the biggest focus is Android 10.
Few of entry-level smartphones are featuring the latest Android 10 currently, and most are running on old Android 9 or even Android 8. It’s glad to see that UMIDIGI brings the Android 10 feature to the sub-$100 entry-level segments. Android 10 is smoother and has many new features like the system-wide dark theme, live caption, and privacy controls, compared to the last Android 9.
And from the back panel, we can confirm the handset will house a dual-camera setup and rear fingerprint scanner. The phone will have two variants, Space Grey and the iPhone-like Midnight Green. On the front, the A3S is equipped with a notch-less display. Other specs are not unveiled yet. But according to the old A3, the A3S should be a small-sized phone and will also sport dual 2.5D glass with metal frame design, dual 4G VoLTE, global bands as well as triple card slots.
For the price, it’s rumored the open sale price of UMIDIGI A3S will be only US$59.99. And the phone would be launched soon at the start of December. We will keep following the latest info. Lastly, UMIDIGI is running a big giveaway to recruit 10 trial users for its flagship Uwatch GT. You can learn more about its products and join the giveaway.
