Apple is indeed a trend-setting company. Last year, the Cupertino company had launched the iPhone X as its first OLED screen enabled smartphone. It came with a full screen design with a notch on the top bezel to house the complex TrueDepth Camera and Face ID system. Many smartphone manufacturers especially from China have been inspired by the design of the iPhone X. Hence, plenty of Chinese smartphone OEMs are now building iPhone X-like designed phones even though they do not feature the complex 3D face recognition system. Ulefone is also one such company that is working on a smartphone called Ulefone X that appears quite similar to the iPhone X. A video has appeared to show the remarkable design of the Ulefone X.
The above video shows that the Ulefone X features a notch. It probably contains the selfie camera and the other necessary sensor. The back panel features a vertically stacked dual camera setup at the top-left corner. An LED flash is placed between the two camera sensors. The design of the dual camera setup is also similar to the iPhone X.
Ulefone X has got one feature that is missing on the iPhone X. It is the fingerprint scanner that is placed on the back panel. The Ulefone X will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo. The entire specs and pricing of the phone are under the wraps. The company is expected to showcase the Ulefone X as well as two other phones with similar design at MWC 2018.
