Recent reports have revealed that Helio P70 and Helio P40 chipsets are the upcoming products from MediaTek. The two chipsets will be powering various mid-range smartphones this year. Ulefone, a smartphone manufacturer from China has officially confirmed that it will be debuting the Ulefone T2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone driven by Helio P70. The phone is slated to get unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 on Feb. 26 at Barcelona, Spain.
The design of the Ulefone T2 Pro is similar to the iPhone X which means that it also features a notch at the top. The massive display of 6 inches is surrounded by slim bezels. It offers a resolution of 1080 x 2280 and an aspect ratio of 19:9 like the iPhone X. The T2 Pro has a glass rear and a metallic frame. The backside of the phone is equipped with dual camera setup. The exact specs of the Ulefone T2 Pro are under the wraps. However, the rumor mill is expected to reveal as the MWC launch draws near.
Recent leaks have revealed that MediaTek Helio P70 is built with 12nm manufacturing process. It is an octa-core processor featuring four cores of 2.5 GHz Cortex A73 and four cores of 2.0 GHz Cortex A53. The SoC includes Mali-G72 MP4 graphics.
