Redmi Pro went through a series of leaks where it stated that the smartphone would feature a MediaTek Helio X20. Afterwards, it was reported that the 5.5-inch Android handset would be running a Helio X25. Well, to update you guys, both leaks are correct, and according to the latest certification from TENAA, we have all the specification details for you right here.
First off All, the Helio X20 version of Redmi Pro is only going to feature 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, but the Helio X25 version is going to come in two models, which have been listed below:
3GB RAM with 64GB internal storage
4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage
This effectively shows that Redmi Pro is going to be announced in three exciting models. The best part about all three models is that all of them will provide support for the dual camera, so we’ll be waiting to see how it performs when the reviews come in. Also, the metal body of the smartphone shows that you too can own a premium Android phone without spending too much money, and according to previous reports, Redmi Pro could also be the very first smartphone from the entire Redmi series to feature an OLED panel. This will deliver richer colors while being more efficient in terms of power consumption.
Xiaomi is also going to follow the same approach that it did with its Redmi Note 3. The Snapdragon 650 powered phone came with a massive 4,000mAh battery, and according to more details, Redmi Pro is going to feature a 4,100mAh battery (this will be applicable for all three models). Looking at all the hardware upgrades, it is evident that this phone could be pricier than its predecessors, and that’s alright. Knowing that the smartphone is still going to be cheaper than the rest of the competition that fall in its specifications category will be all the comfort that users need.
