The number of revelations about Google Pixel 6 phones is growing as the company nears the October 28 launch date. The move follows media leaks that Google will include a wireless charging Stand, or Pixel Stand 2, in its upcoming Pixel 6 series. Recently, a rendering of the charger was published online, along with some of its parameters.
From the outside, the wireless charging stand is larger than ordinary wireless charging, shaped like an upright iron. But its large size also allows the wireless charger to have a larger charging coil and a more efficient radiator, which can effectively reduce the heat problem during charging. According to the exposed image, the wireless charging stand is equipped with two charging coils, one to charge the phone and the other to charge the wearable device. It provides up to 23W of charging power for some Pixel phones and up to 15W of fast charging for wearables that support the Qi protocol. However, for its Own Pixel Buds, the charging power is only 3W.

As Google’s own wireless charging stand, Google has also made some ecological integration. Placing the Pixel phone on the wireless charger enables a range of Google Assistant features, including visual spotlights, photo frames, sunrise alarms, home and media controls, and more. Based on the disclosures, the wireless charge could cost $79 in the United States.
