HTC U12 or U12 + should be the next top-of-the-range smartphone of the brand and, according to what has emerged so far, will be equipped with interested technical specifications. At the moment, it is not clear if the definitive name of the device will simply be U12 or U12 + as reported repeatedly by Evan Blass. What seems now very likely is its design apparently similar to that of the already known LG V30. Looking at the latest renderings published through the slashleaks site, related to some transparent skin specific to the next HTC, you immediately notice the similarity with the smartphone of the LG house.
At the back we find a horizontal dual cam positioned centrally in the upper part of the device. Immediately below are a LED flash, a fingerprint reader, and the HTC logo, while the sides of the two cameras have been inserted a secondary microphone and, probably, laser autofocus. The shell, apparently made of glass, has rounded edges and a glossy finish. It is interesting to note the presence of a further small hole in the lower part of the back cover which could represent another microphone.
In the front area there is no notch, but two more classic small frames. In the upper one, there are two cameras, the capsule, and various sensors.
Recall that the HTC U12 / U12 + should be moved by a SoC Snapdragon 845 accompanied by 6GB of RAM and a maximum of 256GB of internal memory. Among the remaining features is the 5.99-inch display with QHD + resolution and 18: 9 aspect ratio, the main dual image sensor made by Sony, the unlock through the recognition of the face, IP68 body and integrated battery from 3.420 mAh.
The new HTC flagship could be launched globally at the beginning of May but, for now, no reliable information has been identified for which it will be necessary to wait a few days or weeks.
