According to the blog post, this version is still based on the 24H1 update released in May this year, in addition to fixing bugs and security issues, but also added a number of new features:
Resize system text
Users can now adjust the text size of the Start menu through the “Settings – Accessibility – Text Size” option to improve the user experience.
Eye calibration can be skipped
When setting up the device for the first time, the user can choose to skip the eye calibration step. This will speed up the setup process, but may affect the accuracy of device use.
Download the app with WinGet
With the retirement of the Microsoft Store for Business, users can more easily download application packages through the latest version of WinGet for deployment through Intune.
OneDrive PWA application
The OneDrive PWA app for HoloLens 2 is now integrated with new enhancements, allowing users to experience the improved OneDrive by deploying the app.
Microsoft has promised to continue supporting the HoloLens 2 headset until December 2027, but will no longer provide functional improvements, mainly to fix bugs and improve security.
