According to the Russian news agency on September 1, Evgeny Fedotov, head of the Russian tobacco consulting agency Fedotov Group, said: “Following a review by the Fedotov Group, the government has published its plans and the minimum price policy for e-cigarettes is scheduled to come into effect on November 1.”
The agency also clarified that this will also affect disposable electronic nicotine delivery devices (ENDS) with liquids. Fedotov believes that there may be a short transition period, so that all participants in the trade have time to end the current trade and adjust to the new price, as well as for unlabeled products to eventually be taken off the shelves.
