Blogger’s digital chat site revealed that there is an overclocked version of the Mediatek Dimensity 9200. Considering that last year Mediatek released an overclocked version of the Dimensity 9000, Dimensity 9000+, the overclocked version of Dimensity9200 will probably be named Dimensity 9200+.
The chip, which is a semi-iterative upgrade, will still be made using TSMC’s second-generation 4nm technology and has an eight-core design consisting of one Cortex X3 super-large core, three Cortex A715 mega-cores and four Cortex A510 mini-cores.
The current standard version of the super large core CPU frequency has reached 3.05GHz, the overclocked version is bound to exceed this frequency, and the GPU may also be further improved.
In terms of running points, the total score of the current Dimensity 9200 Antutu has broken 1.2 million points, and the overclocked version of the run points will not rule out the possibility of more than 1.3 million points. This will be the most powerful 5G mobile Soc of Mediatek, and the performance is the standard Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
Additionally, the overclocked Dimensity 9200 will also support hardware raytracing and variable rate rendering on mobile devices. At present, hardware-level light tracing has realized soft shadow tracing, mirror ray tracing and refraction ray tracing.

In the game scene, the shadow formed by the light is softer and less stiff, and the reflection effect of the ground is closer to the real effect seen by the naked eye, making the picture of the mobile game close to the PC AAA blockbuster.
