Taking Redmi K40 as an example, the version number of the MIUI 14 development version is V14.0.22.12.5.DEV and the package size is 3.7GB.
In terms of updates, the first version of MIUI 14 brings new UI changes such as desktop capsule widgets and changeable folders, making it easier to use.
In addition, the original Xiaomi Miaoxiang Center has also been upgraded in the new version, which is fully speeded up and can connect to more devices, and has added new functions such as secondary transfer, collaborative input, and call transfer.
In other respects, the new version also optimizes and upgrades functions such as Xiao Ai, privacy security, and family services, and adds a large number of new functions; the bottom layer of the system has also been optimized in the new version, making it lighter.
After the development version starts to be pushed, the stable version will also start to be pushed around January next year.
