Teclast describes the T50 as their latest flagship and if you just look at the technical data, you could sign it that way. Of course, we’re still talking about a “China” tablet that can’t compete with the really big ones, but these costs easily three to five times as much. The Teclast T50 has a high-quality metal housing, 2K resolution display, Android 11 system, 8GB memory, and 128GB storage space, and the Android 11 system runs on a cheap tablet! The tablet is currently available for pre-order, so you can get it cheaper. It will be sold again on Banggood and offers quite interesting specifications. however, the final price will be decisive. So let’s take a look at the specs. You can read teclast t50 review here and check Teclast T40 Pro VS Teclast T50 here.
Design
The Teclast T50 is made of a CNC-milled, continuous unibody metal housing and weighs 510 grams. The edges around the 11-inch display are reduced and dimensions of 237.5 x 142.5 x 7.5 millimeters are achieved. There is still enough space for the 8MP front camera. A total of four speakers are housed around the frame for correspondingly high-quality audio reproduction. All the important elements for use are on the right: the power button and volume rocker as well as the USB-C port. Unfortunately, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.
Hardware
The heart of the Teclast T50 is again a Unisoc T618 octa-core processor with a speed of up to 2 GHz. This was already used in the quite good Teclast T40 predecessor. We would have wished for a slightly more powerful model in the new offshoot. Nonetheless, it gets powerful support from 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space. A Mali G-52 with 850 MHz is responsible for the graphic display. In order to also benefit from the graphics chip, Teclast installed an 11-inch display with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels, an IPS panel, and a brightness of 350 nits in the tablet.

Features
There is also 4G support, as you can insert a SIM card into the thin metal housing and there is also GPS so that you can use it as an entertainment center and large-scale navigation in the car. We get a USB Type-C port, as well as 2.4 and 5GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. Teclast T50 comes swith two microphones, which helps reduce noise, and the four-speaker design will help with content consumption. An 8-megapixel camera above the display can be used for video calls. The rear imager has a resolution of 20 megapixels. A 7500 mAh battery takes over the power supply. According to the manufacturer, this can be “quickly charged” with 18 watts. Although I’m not sure if one should still speak of fast charging at 18 watts. Other devices can do that much better.

Conclusion
The only question mark hangs over the chipset used. It is the UNISOC T618 in combination with 8 GB of RAM. This company is known for producing chipsets, especially for cheap devices. In addition, the Teclast T50 tablet will be the first-ever device with this chip. You can buy Teclast T50 from geekbuying at $249.99 in Flash Sale.
