Linux PC company System76 now offers four laptops with 13th-generation Intel “Raptor Lake” processor options. The company updated its Gazelle laptop in March with an Intel Core i9-13900H processor and NVIDIA RTX 3050 graphics.
Now, System76 has introduced new versions of its Adder WS, Serval WS, and Bonobo WS mobile workstation-class laptops, new models featuring an Intel Core i9-13900HX processor, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics.
The starting price of Adder WS is US$1,599 (about RMB 11,001), equipped with a 15.6-inch FHD 144Hz matte display, RTX 4050 graphics card, and Intel 24-core 32-thread processor, equipped with 8GB of memory and 250GB SSD, but the notebook It can be upgraded to up to 64GB of RAM and 8TB of storage. The Adder WS also offers an optional 17.3-inch 1080p display.
The Serval WS has the same processor, but with a 15.6-inch FHD 165Hz display and RTX 4060 graphics, starting at $1,799 (12,377 yuan). Customers can also upgrade to an optional 17.3-inch 144Hz display.
Meanwhile, the new Bonobo WS is the company’s most powerful laptop to date, and pricing has yet to be announced; it will come standard with a 17.3-inch 3840 x 2160 pixel matte 144Hz display, an Intel Core i9-13900HX processor, and an RTX 4080 or RTX 4090 graphics card choice; also features three M.2 slots for up to 12TB of total storage.
All new laptops (except the Gazelle) come with at least one Thunderbolt 4 port (the Bonobo WS has two). And, like all of System76’s laptops, the new system comes with a choice of two operating systems: Ubuntu or the Ubuntu-based Pop!_OS system.
System76 also sells thinner, lighter, and less powerful laptops for users looking for portability rather than raw performance. The latest models of these laptops are still using 2022 processors, including Intel 12th Gen Core or AMD Ryzen 6000 series processors.
