Japanese technology giant Sony continues to expand its mid-range devices and has announced the upcoming arrival of the Xperia XA2 Plus. On the program: 18: 9 screen, Snapdragon 630 and a very particular care brought to the treatment of sound.
Earlier this year, Sony had introduced a slight redesign of its range of smartphones XA, which corresponds to the Japanese manufacturer of mid-range devices. The Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra were the first smartphones of the brand to have a screen in 18: 9 format. The XA2 Plus, announced today, however, seems to be a simple revision of the XA2 Ultra launched at the beginning of the year.
The model features a similar design to the Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra, however, with different edges for the 18: 9 aspect of the display – by the way, the first medium model – the cost of the brand with this proportion.
The body is finished in anodized aluminum, with metal edges with, we might say, a design even more striking than the Xperia XZ2 line. The great differential of this for other intermediaries of the brand is due to the presence of a high-resolution audio system.
On the laptop we also have a 6 “Full HD + (1080 x 2160) screen with 18: 9 aspect, entitled to protection Corning Gorilla Glass 5, processing is by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chip, which with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage, will please a good part of the consumers looking for a good value for money.
On the part of the cameras, Sony opted for a 23 MP sensor on the back (capable of filming in 4K) and 8MP on the front (with wide angle lenses of 120 degrees); still, on the back, you can also find a fingerprint reader. The battery of the Xperia XA2 Plus has 3580 mAh, which should last for an ordinary day of use. In connectivity, we have USB-C, NFC and Bluetooth 5.0, interesting set for a middleman.
With commercial launch scheduled for August, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus will hit stores in gold, silver, black, and green – in single and dual-SIM options. The price of Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has not yet been revealed, however, we must stay within this detail until the end of the month, so stay tuned.
