Recently, a “Qualcomm Lahaina” device appeared on the GeekBench running sub-site. This may be an engineering machine equipped with Snapdragon 888 Pro. The X1 super-large core has been increased from 2.84GHz to 3.0GHz, the other core frequencies remain unchanged, and the GPU frequency is unknown. At present, the score is not much different from the normal version.
According to Weibo blogger, there are Snapdragon 888 4G, Snapdragon 888 WiFi, and Snapdragon 888 Pro devices. The blogger also said that these devices will be seen this year, and the decentralized mid-end of Snapdragon 888 is expected to be renamed next year.
The Snapdragon 888 regular version chip is manufactured using Samsung’s 5nm process technology and adopts a 1+3+4 core configuration. The ultra-large core Cortex-X1 has a frequency of 2.84GHz. In addition, it also has a 3×2.4GHz A78 core, 4×1.8 GHz A55 core. This chip is equipped with Adreno 660 GPU and X60 5G baseband, with a maximum bandwidth of 7.5Gbps.
