Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 875 chip will be released on January 1.
A few days ago, the blogger’s digital chat station exposed the running score of Snapdragon 875 engineering platform, which is based on the test software Master Lu.
As you can see, Snapdragon 875, code named Lahaina, has a maximum frequency of 2.84GHz and a configuration combination of 1080P screen and 12GB RAM.
GSMArena compiled the Kirin 9000 for Huawei Mate40 Pro and Snapdragon 865 for iQOO5 Pro, and produced charts for direct comparison.
It can be seen that in terms of CPU performance, Snapdragon 875 has obvious advantages over Snapdragon 9000 and Snapdragon 865 due to its architecture advantage (based on the Architecture of Cortex X1 +Cortex A78), which are 20% and 15% ahead respectively.
On the GPU side, it is more interesting. With the full grade performance of the 24-core Mali-G78, Kirin 9000 actually outperforms Snapdragon 875, although with a slight advantage.
In total, Snapdragon 875 has an advantage of only about 2.7% over Kirin 9000.
Of course, since it’s an engineering phone, Snapdragon 875 may still have room for debugging, so let’s wait and see.
