According to digital chat site, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 will be released at the end of October ahead of schedule, and related terminals will debut in November.
It is reported that the first flagship devices equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 include Xiaomi 14 series, vivo X100 series, iQOO 12 series, Redmi K70 series, OnePlus 12, Realme GT5 and more.
This will be Qualcomm’s most powerful 5G Soc to date. It is built on the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s N4P process and features a new 1+5+2 CPU architecture with one X4 super-large core, five A720 mega-core and two A520 micro-core.
The X4 is Arm’s highest performing kernel to date, with a larger L2 cache, doubling in capacity to 2MB compared to 1MB last year for the Cortex X3.
Not only that, but compared to the Cortex X3, the Arm Cortex X4 basically redesigns the entire instruction acquisition and delivery system to ensure that the entire pipeline is more efficient and that the chip can schedule and process more instructions in a single clock.
In addition, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen3 GPU was upgraded to Adreno 750.
