The Simply NUC Topaz computer line is basically a custom version of Intel’s NUC line, but with some breakthroughs. Now Simply NUC has released its new Topaz 3 mini pc with a choice of 28W Intel Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P processors for $669, respectively. Currently about 4,603 RMB) and $819 (IT Home note: Currently about 5,635 RMB) and is expected to ship in April. Simply NUC also plans to launch a low-cost model with the Core i3-1315U chip in the next few months.
Simply NUC calls the Topaz 3 “the first widely-used 13th-generation 4 x 4 NUC,” but the similar-sized NUCS BOX-1300 went on sale in February.
Simply NUC positions Topaz 3 as a “home theater to office to digital signage kiosk” solution, It also offers configuration options ranging from 4GB DDR4 memory and 256GB PCIe SSD storage to 64GB dual-channel memory and up to 10TB storage (with two M.2 slots, one supporting PCIe Gen 4 SSDS and the other supporting SATA SSDS only).
Customers also have the option of a custom NUC configuration that can add USB, Ethernet, audio, video or serial ports to the computer. Built-in ports include:

The computer comes with an Intel AX210 wireless card that supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, as well as a 90W power adapter.
There is a three-year warranty from Simply NUC, which offers customers Ubuntu, Windows 10 or Windows 11 pre-installed, but must pay an additional fee for a Windows license if the latter option is chosen.
