Japanese electronics maker Sharp has announced a new smartphone model called the Sharp S7. The novelty in the protected case is based on the Snapdragon processor and is capable, according to the vendor, to work from one battery charge up to seven days.
The Sharp S7 received a 5.5-inch IGZO LCD-display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels. According to the manufacturer, this type of screen-based on indium, gallium and zinc oxides can significantly reduce the power consumption of the device and it provides an energy-saving performance of over 50%. The smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 630 mobile platform, equipped with 3GB of RAM and a 32GB drive.
On the back of the case is the main camera, represented by a 12MP sensor with aperture f / 2.0. The resolution of the selfie camera is 8MP (f / 2.2) which provides electronic image stabilization and photo processing using artificial intelligence algorithms.
The model is released as part of the Android One program and runs on the bare Android 10 without the Sharp Emopa proprietary shell. The company guarantees global support for smartphone updates for two years from the date of release and the release of security updates in the next 36 months.
The capacity of the built-in battery of the novelty is 4000mAh, According to the vendor, the gadget can work up to 7 days on a single charge. The casing of the device is protected from water (IPX5 / 8) and dust (IPX6).
The Sharp S7 has been announced in Japan and it is unknown if it will be sold in other regions. There it will be sold with the Y! Mobile operator for a price that is unknown and will be available with a single memory and RAM configuration and in peach, silver and gray colors.
