In the previous week, Sharp had launched the Aquos S3 Mini smartphone and now it has announced the Aquos S3. It is the world’s smallest smartphone with 6-inch display.
Sharp Aquos S3 Specifications
The front and rear sides of the Aquos S3 is made out of glass and there is a metallic frame in between. It measures 148.2 x 74.mm. The handset houses a 6-inch IPS LCD display that features a notch. It offers FHD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 19:9.
The Snapdragon 630 chipset drives the smartphone. The SoC is supported by 4 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 64 GB. The handset is fueled by a 3,200mAh battery that carries support for Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. The handset comes loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo that is overlaid with Smile UX by Sharp.
For photography, it features a dual camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens with a pixel size of 1.4micron and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/1.75 aperture. The front panel is fitted with 16-megapixel selfie camera. It can shoot impressive portrait shots through AI and it also works as face unlock feature.
Sharp Aquos S3 Pricing
The Sharp Aquos S3 will be available for buying starting from April 1 in Taiwan. It will be available with a price tag of NT 11,990 ($330).
