According to ePrice, citing Android Community sources, Samsung plans to release a new Tab S series tablet in the near future. The exact model has yet to be determined, but it is likely to be either the Tab S7 Lite or the Tab S8e, which is expected to be mid-range and will be available in Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G versions.
Details on the Tab S7 Lite’s configuration are not yet known. Sources say the tablet is expected to use the same design language as the Tab S7. The specs and features will be reduced, and the price will be reduced accordingly, with 5G being the most expensive version. Based on the launch date of the Tab S6 Lite, the new tablet is expected to be released in April.
The Tab S7 Lite will be available in four models: SM-T730, SM-T735, SM-T736B and SM-T736N. The Tab S7 Lite Plus or Tab S7 Lite XL are expected to follow. Analysts said the timing of Samsung’s new tablet could be linked to the outbreak, as people spend more time at home working and studying and demand for tablets has increased.
