A few weeks ago, Samsung presented in Vietnam its new mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71. At the CES in Las Vegas, the Korean manufacturer has finally announced their arrival in Europe in the coming months.
As a reminder, the two new mid-range smartphones from Samsung both offer a fairly similar design with a screen pierced in the center, a bit like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 – or the Galaxy Note 10 Lite just formalized. Both models are also equipped with a module with four cameras on the back. However, we can note some differences in terms of format or technical characteristics.
Thus, the Samsung Galaxy A51 offers a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with an Exynos 9611 chip, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone also benefits from a 4000mAh battery. For photography, it has a main sensor of 48MP (f / 2.0), a sensor for portrait mode, an ultra-wide-angle of 12MP (f / 2.2) and a device dedicated to macro.
For its part, the Samsung Galaxy A71 sees things in (a little) larger with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen and a 4500mAh battery compatible with 25W fast charging. It also benefits from 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a Snapdragon 730 chip. For the photo, the Samsung Galaxy A71 uses a 64MP main camera opening at f / 1.8 – instead of 48MP for the Galaxy A51 – but the other three devices are identical.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 will be offered at the end of January in France at a price of 379 euros (US$423). It will be available in 3 colors: black, white or blue. For its part, the Galaxy A71 will be launched in early February at 479 euros (US$534) with 3 shades includes black, silver or blue.
