As per the latest update from The Elec, Samsung Galaxy Ring, a bright and innovative brilliant ring, is on the verge of completion in its development phase. The company plans to commence mass production in August at the earliest, with the call expected to hit the market in the early months of the following year.
Samsung has efficiently coordinated various supply chain channels and is currently finalizing the last version of the Galaxy Ring. The exact timing for mass production is yet to be confirmed by high-level executives.
Once all the necessary details for mass production are settled between Samsung’s R&D department and its suppliers, they will report to Lu Taiwen, the head of Samsung Mobile, who will make the final decision regarding the commencement of mass production.
However, there might be a potential delay in delivering the Samsung Galaxy Ring even if production begins in August. This is due to the requirement of obtaining medical device certification, a process similar to the one for the Galaxy Watch. The certification application usually takes several months to complete.
To propel this innovative project forward, Samsung has joined forces with Meiko Electronics Co., Ltd. (MEIKO), a Japanese company.

After its market release, the ring will be officially known as the “Galaxy Ring.” The primary focus of this device is to cater to the health and XR headset market, providing more precise and detailed body/health data than the Galaxy Watch.
