Samsung launched the latest Android tablet – the 10.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, priced at $399, which is not only much cheaper than the flagship $649 Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and even surpasses the latter in some respects. The Tab S5e is the thinnest and lightest product of the Galaxy Tab. It is a metal case with a thickness of 5.5mm and weighs only 400g. Even with a thickness of 5.9mm and a 468g 11-inch iPad Pro, the Tab S5e is lighter and thinner.
The Galaxy Tab S5e screen accounted for 81.8%, the Tab S4 number was 79%, and the 11-inch iPadPro number was 82.9%. The Galaxy Tab S5e screen does not shrink, with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 2560×1600 resolution. The Galaxy Tab S5e uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor, and Samsung is committed to providing up to 14.5 hours of battery life.
Tab S5e is also Samsung’s first tablet with a pre-installed Android Pie operating system and Bixby 2.0 assistant. Samsung also introduced Dex, a desktop Android environment that allows users to interact with devices using the screen, mouse, keyboard or all three. Tab S5e is also equipped with AKG-tuned four surround speakers, 64GB internal storage space, expandable to 512GB through a microSD memory card, Tab S5e built-in 4GB memory, Samsung also listed 6GB memory/128GB storage options, but the current price is unknown.

In terms of taking pictures, the Galaxy Tab S5e is equipped with a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front camera that can shoot 4K video at 30 frames per second. The new Galaxy Tab S5e 4GB/64GB is priced at $399 and will be available on Samsung’s website and major retailers in the second quarter of 2019. It has a black, gray or limited edition gold look. In addition, the 4G version will be available later this year.
