Ahead of next week’s CES 2023, Samsung unveiled its latest Bespoke Family Hub fridge, whose biggest highlight is a huge 32-inch touchscreen that can be used to watch videos, control SmartThings compatible smart home devices, Post notes, check out recipes, check out family photos, etc.
The Refrigerator, called Bespoke Refrigerator Family Hub Plus, will be on display at Samsung’s booth 2023 at CES in Las Vegas from January 5, 2023. The screen size is more than double to 32 inches, compared with the 21.5-inch display on the previous refrigerator. Users can watch more than 190 channels in the United States or about 80 channels in South Korea on the refrigerator through the Samsung TV Plus app, and videos can also be viewed in picture-in-picture mode.
Because the display is portrait, it’s optimized for vertical videos from services like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Users can also use Samsung’s Bespoke Atelier app to display artwork and paintings on the screen.
The Bespoke Refrigerator Family Hub Plus has SmartThings built in, which means users don’t need to buy a separate iot hub. The refrigerator has six SmartThings services: SmartThings Energy, SmartThings Cooking, SmartThings Air Care, SmartThings Home Care, SmartThings Pet Care and SmartThings Clothing care.
