A few days ago we had seen how Samsung is preparing screens with notch and all-screen design, presenting them during the Samsung Developers Conference 2018, and we seem to have the first photos from Infinity-O through a production unit of the company. After introducing Samsung ‘s new Infinity U / V / O Display, everyone has begun to wonder how it will actually be such screens that Samsung has never used before, showing its refusal to supply smartphones with screens of this type.
Today, some photos that appeared on the SlashLeaks website show the screen that is possibly the Infinity-O Display, and it looks quite similar to what Samsung had shown at the Developers Conference, with the hole for the selfie camera on the left-hand side.
According to the new image, this mysterious Smartphone will be the first smartphone with the screen with a ‘hole’ and the images show us exactly what to expect. The equipment has a small hole in the upper part where the front camera of the device will be housed.
According to the information, this ‘hole’ will not properly be a notch. That is, the screen will go through all the edges of the equipment. Although a bit strange initially, this kind of screen may be exactly what we need to leave the notches behind.
In short, it is still too early to be certain whether or not this design is better than the design. Although not a big fan of notches, the truth is that the design has spread by almost all manufacturers and is in the trend. Let’s hope that Samsung will, once again, change things a little. However, we will be dreaming of a smartphone without any kind of monocles or holes.
