Samsung recently officially launched their latest duo of folding screen smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G. Today, a new leak has shared with us quite interesting information about their successor phones, which are expected to launch as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Specifically, a source from the Naver blog shows that Samsung will bring some important improvements in the selfie camera technology hidden under the screen. The report says that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 may possess improved UDC technology compared to the current generation. It also says that Samsung can use the technology for both displays (primary and secondary).
In addition, the Korean company is also focusing on improving the camera performance of the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The phone is said to have a high-end camera, just like what we can expect from the Galaxy series. The upcoming S22.
Other improvements include a new hinge mechanism, reduced weight, and improved water and dust resistance. The battery capacity of the Z Fold 4 is expected to remain the same as the Z Fold 3. This means that the device could have a 4400mAh battery inside.
As for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, this phone is also likely to be introduced with UDC technology. Samsung is said to have prototypes of both, one with a punch-hole display and another with a UDC. Depending on progress, the company may choose one of two front-facing camera technologies for the successor to the Z Flip 3 5G.
This smartphone is also rumored to have an improved hinge and water and dust resistance. According to rumors, the presentation of new products will take place in August next year during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event.
