According to several foreign technology media outlets such as PhoneArena and NeoWin, after the one-year warranty period of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was officially provided, a large number of users reported that the folding screen was damaged.
In the /r/ GalaxyFold subreddit, a user named Snoo_23916 describes hearing a popping sound while flipping on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 screen to show off to a friend recently. Then the right screen no longer responds to touch. He said the phone was only turned on two or three times a week for 15 months, so there was no excessive wear and tear.
Another user, Mizderrung, shared a similar story, except that Samsung refused to repair the device for free after it was three months out of warranty, asking users to pay A $700 to repair it.
