According to GSMArena, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold2 was released earlier this month and supports regular SIM and eSIM CARDS, but eSIM is not available for the first time. Samsung has now enabled eSIM on the Galaxy Z Fold2 with a firmware update.
The new firmware version, F916BXXU1BTIA, is currently available in Europe, the report said. Users can use eSIM on Galaxy Z Fold2 with the SIM card manager added to the Settings menu.
The Galaxy Z Fold2, which went on sale in major markets last week, features a Snapdragon 865 + processor, Android 10 operating system, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 7.6-inch 120Hz fold-down AMOLED display and a 6.23-inch auxiliary display.
