After the previous branding, price, size, and color leaks, we now have our first look at Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro, thanks to Evan Blass who shared 3D renders of the upcoming smartwatches. The renders are 3D, of course, giving you the look of the smartwatches from every angle. So, let’s start with the Pro version!
Galaxy Watch 5 Pro
The Pro version of this smartwatch is codenamed “Project X” within Samsung and is coming in black and gray titanium colors. In addition, the watch is getting an LTE version, but also a Bluetooth version.
The structure of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro looks elegant, but at the same time, it has already lived in its time. Apparently, Samsung is not bringing anything significant “new” to the design of smartwatches, instead, a thick equilateral frame and a display panel equipped with thick frames are offered. The bracelet of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro seems to have a slightly different locking system.
There are two buttons and a microphone hole on the right side of the watch. On the left side, you can see the speaker. There are many different sensors on the back of the watch for health monitoring.
Galaxy Watch 5
It is a basic version of the Galaxy Watch 5, known internally by Samsung as “ Heart ”. It’s largely the same smartwatch as last year’s Galaxy Watch 4, so Samsung hasn’t pushed the design much further.
The frame of the watch is flat, on the right side there are two buttons and a microphone, and on the left side, there is a speaker. The back of the watch has familiar sensors and the strap is plastic.
According to Blass, the watch will also be available in LTE and Bluetooth versions, but there will also be two different size versions.
Besides, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is expected to be available in several color versions, which are at least silver, black, and blue as seen in the pictures. Samsung is bringing the Wear OS 3.5 operating system to both watches, with the One UI Watch 4.5 interface on top.
Launch Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Series
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro are expected to launch on August 10, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 new Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds.
