Samsung had released a tablet that was taken as the focus of robustness two years ago, but at the 2019 IFA, the South Korean technology giant introduced its new tablet called Galaxy Tab Active Pro which comes as a successor to Tab Active 2 and adds several enhancements.
Designed to be easy to use even for those who wear thick work gloves, the tablet keeps the S Pen in an extremely accessible location, In addition, there are physical navigation keys at the bottom of the tablet.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro is designed to meet the needs of its users in the most demanding work environments. The tablet, protected from dust and water by IP68, was also subjected to drop tests from 1.2 meters and was awarded the MIL-STD-810G standard for its robustness.
Tab Active 2 is seen as a development on the tablet with a 10-inch screen. The tablet is also in document-friendly mode and has a 16:10 aspect ratio of 1920×1200 pixels.
With a brightness of 550 nits, the display offers a comfortable look outdoors, while at the same time offering different modes for ease of use in humid environments. Samsung DeX is included in this model to connect it to a monitor and take advantage of it as if it were a computer.
With 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, the tablet also supports microSD cards up to 512GB. Samsung hasn’t given the name of the processor inside the tablet at the moment, but when we look at the benchmark tests at the Geekbench, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro is thought to be Snapdragon 710.
Coming out of the box with the Android 9 Pie, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro comes with a replaceable 7600mAh battery, but there is no explanation as to whether the tablet has a fast charge. When we look at the camera’s features, we can say that there is a 13MP rear camera as well as an 8MP front camera.
