The durable tablet battery of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 has been exposed as it recently made an appearance in the GeekBench benchmark library. The 6.2.0 version achieved a single-core score of 925 points and a multi-core score of 2201 points.
Currently, two models of Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 tablets are available. The Wi-Fi-Only version is SM-X300, and the 5G model is SM-X306B. Samsung has internally developed firmware for both of these models.
The tablet that has appeared on GeekBench this time is the 5G version of the Galaxy Tab Active 5. The page information indicates that the tablet is equipped with an eight-core processor, including 4 cores at 2.40GHz and 4 cores at 2.0GHz. It can be confirmed that it is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 processor, judging from the motherboard “s5e8835.”
Additionally, the page information reveals that the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 has 6GB of memory and runs the Android 14 system. It is anticipated that other memory versions will become available once the tablet is launched.
While there are limited details about the tablet at present, it is known from the certification information that the Galaxy Tab Active 5 tablet will come with an EB-BX306GBY battery. However, the specific capacity and other specifications remain unclear.
Samsung has priced its currently released 5G version of the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro at 800 euros (approximately 6,224 yuan), and it comes with a built-in S Pen. The pricing for the Galaxy Tab Active 5 is expected to be the same.
