In the previous month, a mysterious Samsung phone with a model number of SM-G8750 was spotted on Geekbench. At that time, it was speculated that it could be the Galaxy S9 Mini. Yesterday, a Samsung phone with similar model number of SM-G8850 was spotted on TENAA. It was speculated that it could be the other variant of the Galaxy S9 Mini. However, the TENAA listing had not revealed the processor that would be powering the phone. Today, the AnTuTu listing of the very same phone has appeared. Along with the key specs, it has confirmed that the handset is driven by Snapdragon 660 chipset.
The Samsung SM-G8750 phone that was spotted on Geekbench at the start of this month was fueled by Snapdragon 660 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The AnTuTu listing of the Samsung SM-G8850 has revealed that its SD660 SoC is supported by 4 GB of RAM. Its display produces 2220 x 1080 pixels resolution which indicates that it will be equipped with an S-AMOLED Infinity Display design with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a native storage of 64 GB. It has recorded a score of 136,483 on AnTuTu.
As of this writing, there is no real proof to confirm that the Samsung SM-G8850 / SM-G8750 phone will be rolling out as Galaxy S9 Mini. However, since the handset has already received TENAA certification, it seems that its arrival is close at hand.
