As usual, Samsung will be one of the first to ship the Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 processor in the Galaxy S22 series, and now details of the annual flagship are beginning to emerge.
According to @iIce Space, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will not follow the 200 megapixel model, but will polish the third generation of 100 million megapixels (108MP).
Samsung’s HM3 sensor on the Galaxy S21 Ultra uses the Super PD Plus phase focus feature, which adds a microlens above the phase focus, thus increasing the focusing speed by 50%.
Based on the leaks, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will likely continue to use HM3 sensors and be tuned with new ISPs and software algorithms, and the imaging performance will be worth looking forward to.
Notably, Samsung is said to be working with Olympus to create images for the Galaxy S22 series.
Huawei has been working with Leica for a long time, which has kept Huawei’s phones at the top of the DXomark ratings for a long time. OnePlus has also begun working with Mr. Hassou, resulting in the OnePlus 9 series of phones.
