We know surprisingly a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S22, for the equipment that is to be released soonest in January 2022. We already know that the Ultra variant is to offer a camera with a breathtaking 200MP resolution developed in cooperation with the Olympus brand and that the smallest Galaxy S22 will be a tiny bit smaller than the current Galaxy S21, which should appeal to lovers of handy smartphones. Thanks to the graphics from Let’s Go Digital, we also know what the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra can look like:
The front panel looks like a company flagship. A display with a thin frame and rounded edges, and round holes for selfie modules. They have a diagonal screen Galaxy S22 Ultra It’s 6.81 inches, which is Quad HD + resolution. Receiving an LTPO panel with an adaptive refresh rate will be the only flagship in the lineup.
Another difference between this model and the other devices in the series is the glass back panel, but the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + receive a plastic back. They provide S-pen, a fanned cooling system, and perhaps camera support under a 44MP display. The last feature of the Galaxy S22 Ultra is questionable, and I’m not sure if Samsung is ready to learn new technology and offer a self-contained solution.
The smartphone chip and the main sales function is the camera. Must be set by an Olympus expert. The block design is similar to the Galaxy S22 Ultra , but one sensor is especially large. Its dimensions are large due to the 200MP sensor that integrates it. Indeed, according to other sources, the company refused to increase megapixels. It provides a 50MP module as the main module. According to some recent reports, there will be a telephoto lens and optical image stabilization for sensor shifts will also be supported.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra must provide Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 895 chip. Up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of flash storage. The battery capacity can be 5000mAh. The gadget is controlled by a unique OneUI 4.0 shell based on Android 12. The rumour mill expects new colours. In the Concept, the designer defines black, silver, blue, green and red. The latter option, in particular, looks particularly noble.
The price tag for the base version of the flagship should be in the range of € 1250 to € 1300. In any case, we are still more than 6 months away from the expected launch of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series.
