It seems that we will not have to wait until 2022 to know what the next Samsung flagship will look like since the first render images of the Galaxy S22 Ultra have just been leaked, and it confirms some of the rumors. These images come from the prestigious filtered @OnLeaks where we can exclusively see all the images of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in Digit.
Apparently, Samsung would be transferring some of the characteristics of the extinct Note range to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, such as the S Pen, which would now be included and could be hidden directly in the terminal. Also, another thing that is immediately noticeable is the new layout of the cameras in the shape of the letter “P”.
Anyway, there are four cameras that are expected to be a combination of Main + Wide + 3X Telephoto and 10X Telephoto. In other words, the sensors are likely to improve, but the camera uses will remain the same as with the S21 Ultra.
The renderings of Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra clearly show the S-Pen pen input as well as the USB-C charging port, microphones, and one speaker on the lower frame. The other is expected to be built into the handset. This square, but rounded at the edges, design has so far exclusively belonged to the Note. There is a SIM slot on the top, and it is not known whether it will support a MicroSD card or two physical SIM cards.
According to the information, Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a 6.8 “curved Dynamic AMOLED screen, and its dimensions are 163.2 x 77.9 x 8.9mm. The thickness of the phone above the camera is 10.5mm. Given the appearance of the cameras, one of them could be a periscope zoom camera.
With everything seen, apparently, Samsung would seek to bridge the gap between the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Galaxy Note series. However, the latter could return in the future. At the moment it is all that is known about the device. Possibly, as the months go by, the rumors will increase. Of course, it is worth noting that the phone will only arrive next year.
