Reliable whistleblower Roland Quandt has revealed European pricing information for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Samsung seems to be sticking with the price of the previous S21, with the only difference being that the S22 Ultra, which costs the same, has less memory than the S21 Ultra.
In Europe, the S22 starts at €849, the S22 Plus at €1,049 and the S22 Ultra at €1,249, according to Quandt. All the base models in the family come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The S22 and S22 Plus have a more expensive version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the S22 Ultra offers two other higher-priced versions, Offers 12GB of ram and 256GB or 512GB of storage.
Igeekphone understands that these prices are the same as those of the S21 series, and Quandt’s tip-off suggests that the base version of the S22 Ultra may only come with 8GB of ram, rather than the 12GB of the base S21 Ultra, but the S22 Ultra will still start at the same price as the S21 Ultra.
Samsung’s U.S. pricing information for the S22 series leaked earlier this month, with the base S22 reportedly starting at $899, the S22 Plus at $1,099, and the S22 Ultra at $1,299. If those prices are true, that would represent a $100 increase across the entire line over the previous model.
