While this year’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 will feature a front-facing screen, Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S series (tentatively named Galaxy S22 series) will still feature a perforated screen next year, according to digital blogger.
According to @DigitalChat,Samsung Galaxy S22 series still has a perforated screen because the technology is more mature. The blogger also posted aluminum models of Galaxy S22 Plus and the Ultra, showing that both phones have perforated, center-centered screens.
In addition, a number of Korean whistleblowers recently revealed that Samsung’s Galaxy S22 flagship phone is expected to be the first in a partnership with Japanese optical maker Olympus (OLYMPUS), with a 200-megapixel camera. It’s not clear that Samsung will have a 200-megapixel camera for the S22 series, however, as a blogger has previously reported that the S22 Ultra will still have a 108-megapixel camera.
