Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra may be the only smartphone equipped with Exynos 1000; low-end S21 models may continue to use Exynos 992 processors. In addition to obvious upgrades (such as larger memory, larger battery, etc.), the whistleblower @Mauri QHD claimed that Samsung may only deliver the rumored 5nm Exynos 1000 processor to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, while the lower-priced S21 version will Use Exynos 992 processor.
Mauri QHD also pointed out that Samsung has considered using Exynos 990, but cannot keep up with the development of Snapdragon 865. Samsung will obviously avoid using it in its flagship products in 2021. In addition, Snapdragon 875 is more expensive, forcing Samsung Electronics to find another alternative.

Equipped with Exynos 991 or Exynos 992 can be used to reduce the price of the Galaxy S21. According to reports, Samsung may use a 60Hz refresh rate screen in the S21 basic model phone to reduce costs. Fortunately, Samsung has not confirmed the change.
It’s unclear how the improvements and changes Samsung plans to offer to the Galaxy S21 series next year but they are expected to solve the problems the Galaxy S20 series currently faces, including the camera and performance. Before the Galaxy S21 appears, Samsung is expected to announce the next-generation Galaxy Note series at the virtual Unpacked event taking place on 5th August.
