Expected for the beginning of 2021, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra – also known as Galaxy S30 Ultra – had its main specifications revealed on the MySmartPrice site by Ishan Agarwal, a famous Indian leaker. The successor of the S20 Ultra, for all indications, should bring specific changes in relation to the 2020 model, with the same camera resolution and battery capacity. The main difference is the use of a slightly smaller screen, which allowed a reduction in the device’s measurements.
According to the informant, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is built around a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. We expect to find a refresh rate of 120 Hz or more, as in previous models. As the renderings of the OnLeaks show, Samsung is once again relying on a perforated screen for its Galaxy S21. No photo sensor for selfies under the screen this year. On the other hand, the screen would be surrounded by ultra-thin and uniform borders.
The smartphone is said to be powered by a 5000mAh battery. Samsung would therefore rely on a battery similar in size to that of the Galaxy S20 Ultra. On the other hand, the future flagship would stand out thanks to a fast charging technology of 65W, a first at Samsung, several rumors put forward. It should be one of the main novelties in the range.
Camera
The back camera would consist of a 108MP main lens. This is not a surprise, Samsung having already integrated a 108MP camera in its Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20. In the hole in the screen, we would find a 40MP lens. Here again, the S21 Ultra uses the same ingredients as its predecessor, the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
As a reminder, Samsung should present the Galaxy S21 (S30) from the first weeks of January 2021. We’ll tell you more as soon as possible. While waiting for more information on the S21, feel free to give your opinion in the comments below.
