The Galaxy S21 FE will be the new device that Samsung could be present during CES 2022 in Las Vegas to be held in January next year. Waiting for more information on the launch date, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has appeared again on the leakers’ radars.
In fact, Samsung has applied for NBTC certification in Thailand, suggesting that the launch of Galaxy S21 FE may be imminent. According to what emerged, the device will feature the model number SM-G990E. However, the certification site does not give us new details on the smartphone, but thanks to Tipster Tron, who shared a screenshot of Samsung phones listing on Geekbench with model number SM-G990E.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the phone uses the Exynos 2100 chipset. The CPU information shows that it has one main CPU core clocked at 2.91 GHz, three CPU cores clocked at 2.81 GHz, and four CPU cores clocked at 2.21 GHz. The SoC supports 8GB of RAM. The device runs on the latest version of Android OS 12. In single-core and multi-core tests, the S21 FE scored 1096 and 3387 points, respectively.
Like the S21 series smartphones, the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition is expected to ship with either a Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 chip depending on the market. It can come with 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
It is expected, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will feature a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. For selfies, it can have a 32MP front camera, while its rear camera module can include a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens. It can be bolstered by a 4500mAh battery, which is expected to support 25W fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
