The last month, Samsung released the top-line smartphone Galaxy line S21, but supposedly already be working on the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (Aka Fan Edition), which is a new member of the family that targets cost-effectiveness. Today, a leak shared by Sam Mobile revealed some details about the alleged phone, including colors and storage options.
According to the sources of the specialized website, the Smartphone is under development with the serial number SM-G990B. The Sam Mobile also points out that the device will come with two storage options: 128GB or 256GB. Regarding the design, the Galaxy S21 FE should be launched in gray, pink, violet, and white.
Furthermore, it is stated that the phone will, as expected, run the Android 11 operating system and that it will come with 5G support. Nothing more is known about this phone, but we hope to have more information about it in the near future.
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is also available in 4G and 5G versions. The 4G version is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 990, while the 5G version is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. The phones have a 6.5 “Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. The screen refresh rate is as high as 120Hz, and below the screen is an optical fingerprint scanner.
At the moment there is no certainty about the version of One UI that the device will run from the factory. Recall that, today, the most recent version of Samsung’s custom layer is One UI 3.1, while it is expected that in the second half of the year One UI 3.5 will be released with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
